How Does Reiki Work?

Reiki practitioners use a technique called hands-on healing through which "universal energy" is transferred through the hands of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Sessions typically take place in a peaceful setting, with the recipient fully clothed, either lying on a table or seated.

The practitioner places their hands lightly on specific areas of the recipient's body to facilitate the flow. Individuals often report feeling deeply relaxed, with a reduction in stress and an increase in overall well-being following a session.
